Sylvia's unique, smart, quirky and relatable comedy emerges from her international military kid background, southern collegiate experience, surprising even herself by becoming of a mom of 4 (twins, man!!!!), software profession, life's love, loss and Luby's, and in general, the desire to see the funny in every day because we desperate out here (especially on days where you're cleaning up pee pants). She's been awarded Top Finalist as Funniest Comic in Dallas, has had her material featured on the wildly popular millions+ social media site @TheDad, Dani Austin's Talent Show, and....most importantly potentially, The Great State Fair of Texas.
She's been grateful to work with internationally touring comedians, actors and famous ppl IRL and on TikTok, such as Tim Meadows (SNL, Ladies Man), Kevin Farley (Curb Your Enthusiasm, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Michael Palascak, (The Late Shows, Last Comic Standing), Josh Blue (winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing, The Tonight Show), Ryan Niemiller (America's Got Talent), Erica Rhodes (ABC's Modern Family, HBO's Veep), Leah Rudick ("Wealthy Woman" Sketches), Andrew Stanley (The Tonight Show), & all the other people she's afraid to leave out.
