Sylvia Mc Bateman Comedy (this is me on a shower day)
Sylvia is a Dallas, Texas based comedian and host who is known for her magnetic comedy flavor of part wholesome, part spice. She connects with audience through shared experiences of every day life, raising cutie hilarious (at times, infuriating) kids, and realizing you've had your sweatpants on backward all day.
She brings laughs from her experiences of being born abroad (but not a bored broad), living in eight different states and two countries before the age of 18 as an Army Brat and immigrant daughter. She's afraid to leave anyone out so shoutout to the beloved step/"bonus" parents too.
Her career started in the financial tech & consulting industry which naturally leads to stand-up comedy. She would have pictured her life panning out more like the "bad chick" in every hallmark movie that carries a briefcase and no soul but alas, she has heart and a mic. Being a fun mom isn't her whole personality but it is at least halfnhalf. With four young kiddos (including twins - SURPRISE!), yes her hands are full, yes they're all hers, yes go ahead and put my coffee up to my mouth instead of asking stupid questions.
She relates to the booty-shaking club days and the back that thang up Costco club days now too. She has performed countless shows for events at comedy clubs, theaters, corporations, Home Owner Associations, conferences, churches, parent groups and even the Dallas Cowboy Star Facility. She took home the Silver Medal in the 2022 March Laughness Competition and a Finalist in Funniest Person with a Day Job Competition.

You can look forward to seeing her at the 2023 State Fair of Texas! She's a lot like your relatable BFF next door who hopes to help folks know they're not alone in their oddities and trials. Ultimately, if she can help someone feel seen and laugh about the everyday hard and help with the will to continue another day, she's in jam. Cheers!
